Aesthetic consultation is a clinical reasoning process, not a sales script. A consistent framework helps separate goals from assumptions and treatment options from actual indications.

Start with the patient's goal

Clarify what the patient notices, what outcome they expect, what they have tried previously, and how much change they want.

Then assess candidacy

Review relevant history, anatomy, function, baseline asymmetry, prior procedures, contraindications, and whether the requested treatment aligns with the problem.

Build a sequence

When multiple concerns exist, explain priorities, dependencies, staging, alternatives, and what should not be combined. Document the reasoning, not only the selected procedure.
